Google Talk is an application that meets my needs for multi-tasking. I was able to learn about this Google product when I started using Gmail as my main email service provider. One of the things I like about it is its basic and neat interface. I can contact anyone in my list whether through chat or call. I just have my PC headset ready in case I see my friends and family online. You can start a voice conversation with your contacts immediately and the call quality is good. I also like the idea that you know if your contact is typing a message. It informs you that the person is in the process of replying to your last message. Overall, I only encountered minor issues throughout using this application. There are times when I get disconnected while chatting, but mostly this is due to slow internet connection. Group chat and group video calls are among the notable features of this application. Since I use Gmail all the time, having Google Talk enables me to communicate to my contacts anytime and in actual time. Aside from being free it is also very convenient to use. The contacts in my Gmail account are readily available in Google Talk.
